Daniel Parisi received a law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2015, where he was a Merit Scholar and graduated cum laude. While at UNC, Mr. Parisi worked as a Legal Research Assistant in both Securities Law and Privacy Law, as a Legal Extern at IBM, and was an Articles Editor for the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology. Mr. Parisi is also a published author of the journal.

As an attorney, Mr. Parisi's practice has focused on broad intellectual property, employment, business, corporate, and privacy law. He has experience with both transactions and litigation, working in-house and for firms. Mr. Parisi's most recent experience has focused, in particular, on complex litigation cases. Mr. Parisi's work with The Paynter Law Firm has been primarily focused on copyrights and video game development. He has been involved with various stages of the case including discovery, briefs and motions, expert communications, document review and analysis, communications with the copyright office, preparing for depositions and hearings, and exhibit identification.

Mr. Parisi is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and is a Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to law school, Mr. Parisi has a decade of experience as a computer systems expert. In additional to his experience in the legal field, Mr. Parisi also has a post-baccalaureate education in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional.
